Emergency or Disaster Procedures for AREA 2 ACS/ARES Members

When an emergency or disaster occurs, your priority is to make sure you and your family are safe and secure. Only then should you:

  • Monitor the Area 2 “Bozo” repeater (ACS Channel 2). Typically, updates on the emergency, instructions, and any potential ACS activation will be given at the top of the hour, 20 minutes after the hour and 20 minutes before the top of the hour. (00:00, 00:20, 00:40).
  • ACS Channel 2: 147.885, minus offset, PL 127.3 (Bozo repeater on Rasnow Peak)
