Did You Feel It? (DYFI) is a USGS program to collect information from people who felt an earthquake and creates maps that show what people experienced and the extent of damage.
ACS/ARES members are encouraged create a message in Winlink Express by selecting the DYFI form under “Select Template/Standard Templates/USGS/USGSDYFI.txt.”
The form fills in the email address at USGS, but please remember to Cc the message to DYFI@vccomm.org. (Not to winlink@vccomm,org which is used for weekly check in message only.) The DYFI form can be used for both real events and exercises and you are encouraged to practice to become familiar with the form and the information requested by the DYFI program.
